Renal Scan with Flow (DTPA pr MAG₃):

• Indications

1. Evaluation of renal vascular flow.

2. Evaluation of renal tubular function and perfusion.

3. Evaluation of renal tubular obstruction and/or trauma.

4. Detect obstruction or renal stenosis.

5. Evaluation of renal transplant.

• Patient Preparation:

1. Patient is to be well hydrated and should void before the test begins.

2. Bring all renal studies to compare.
